Zaxis Architectural, PC is proud to be a design partner with ECMC on their Hyperbaric Wound Center. The 5,000sf Center features a capacity for four (4) Class B single occupancy hyperbaric oxygen chambers, treatment rooms and administrative areas.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). During the treatments, the patient breathes 100-precent oxygen inside a pressurized chamber, quickly increasing the concentration of oxygen in the bloodstream, where it is delivered to a patient’s wound site for faster healing.
The therapy also has many benefits including the reduction of swelling, battling infection, improving circulation and the treatment of carbon monoxide poisoning.
