Ten commercial floors were converted into 64 luxury apartments with unparalleled views.

Constructed in 1913, the Marin Building, designed by the renowned firm, Green & Wicks, in the Italian Renaissance Revival style, for Marine Trust Company, has long been one of Buffalo’s most significant structures. Through the use of historic tax credits, the building has once again regained prominence as a premier location for city dwellers and hospitality banquet clients. The building is located in the Joseph Ellicott Historic Preservation District.

The purpose of the project was to re-purpose an aging iconic Buffalo building from its’ banking and commercial roots into a hospitality and residential destination. The main floor features the Admiral Room, a classically elegant banquet space supported by an adjacent commercial banquet kitchen. The project also converted ten commercial floors into 64 luxury apartments which offer unparalleled city views.
